Welcome to Cleethorpes Junior Rugby Club

Cleethorpes Rugby Club re-established its junior section at the beginning of the 2008/2009 season, now having over and 70 Boys and Girls across a number of age groups from Under 7 to under 12. The club is working to the Rugby Football Union seal of approval. The junior section has a full structure in place to offer interesting coaching, where children will learn to play Rugby from the age of 6 through to 16. Our Junior Section operates mixed boys and girl’s side from under 7’s to under 12’s and each player is provided with playing shirt for games. .

With a number of level one Rugby Football Union qualified and CRB checked These coaches are supervised by a rugby football level two qualified coach, the aim of Cleethorpes rugby club is to be inclusive and offer a safe and well structured environment, where children will have fun, meet new friends, keep fit and healthy, and develop a team spirit. Players have enjoyed representing Cleethorpes at home and away matches across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire with a number of successes. The rugby season runs from September till the end of April. Cleethorpes RFUC offer training on Sunday mornings with games throughout the season with the children representing Cleethorpes home and away. The highlight of the season is the attending the county festivals in March and April. The sport of rugby is growing and Cleethorpes Junior Rugby provides fantastic fun for all, whether you are participating or a spectator. Come and join us.

Training sessions take place at Wilton Road, Cleethorpes on Sunday from 1000 to 1200 hours. September to April.
